First day at Universal.

It really looked just like the movies! So fun to be there.

This is the Owl Post. They had owls (not real, obviously) all around the building. The wands were also on the other side of this shop. And yes, I bought a Harry Potter wand. (don't judge, haha)

A splash zone for the kids. It was SOOOO HOT in FL. I felt so bad for Bradley because he inherited my red face.

The Lion King show. It was AMAZING, but I couldn't get a good picture. My fave show of the week by far!

Cooling off at the pool at the house. We rented a big house instead of a hotel. It was so nice to have the space and everyone under the same roof.

The whole gang the morning we left. It was sad to leave because we don't get to see Julie and her kids very often or Aaron and Michelle.

If you're reading this you must have survived the overload of pictures. Florida was HOT, but super fun with all the Laupers. Oh and if you noticed my belly is a little chubby it's because I'm pregnant!!!! I'm sure most of you know, but I'm 16 weeks pregnant and we are so excited!!

Happy Easter

Bradley is pretty obsessed with Sesame Street these days, so it was easy to decide his theme for his Easter basket.
I was super excited about this Elmo doll I got him, but he was more interested in the eggs. We put a couple pieces of candy in some of the eggs, but most of them were filled with fishy crackers.


All handsome for Church. I must say, it's hard to get creative with a little boys wardrobe, so I just decided to keep things simple. If we had a girl to dress, we would be broke.

Sunday walk on the beach

It's funny how we live 20 minutes from the beach, and we rarely make it there once a month. Yesterday it was a nice afternoon, and we all needed to get out of the house, so we decided to head to the shores. Bradley is getting better about not just eating the sand, but as you can see, he still manages to get it all over himself. Oh and he picked up a dead crab the size of my fist.

sewing project

There is a new blog that I LOVE to look at. It gives me such inspiration and great ideas when it comes to my wardrobe. It's called, Sisters 4 Say More is More. They transformed a pair of plain khaki's into cute skinny khakis. I happened to have a pair of plain khaki's that I never wear, so I thought, why not?! Since, I already had my sewing machine out, I decided to give it a shot. I have to say I love how they turned out! It wasn't hard at all. Now I just need to figure out what to wear with khaki's....?

Good news, Bradley is 100% better! Thanks goodness that virus is gone. He has caught up on sleep and so have I.

Today he was biting into an orange and it was pretty funny watching his reaction. You can see it in the photos, not what he expected, but he kept going! The skin is supposed to have extra vitamins, right? Once I peeled it he wasn't that interested anymore. Oh well.

being sick is NO fun

It has been a rough few days at my house. Bradley has had a fever for the past 4 days and as a result can't sleep without waking up every hour. (I've been up almost every hour the past 3 nights, which is why you don't see make up on my face and my hobo clothes) On Saturday he got so warm we almost took him to Urgent care, but he cooled down after his nap. You can see how red his face is in these pics because of his fever. He seems to be doing better, but is still a little warm. His Dr. said to give it one more day, so I'm trying not to worry. I just want him to get better!

Today at the park Bradley put a snail in his mouth. Yes, I said SNAIL! So I had to get it out with my finger and lets just say I was pretty grossed out.

What would I do without my sweet husband and my little angel? I can't imagine my life without them. Bradley loves his Dad more than anything and I couldn't have asked for a better Father to Bradley. (sorry for the sappy post)

So at the moment I am trying to spruce up my boring bookshelf in my room, and as I was looking for inpsiration online, I saw this AWESOME little office that was created from a closet. How cute is this little space?! I love the wallpaper and aqua. If only I had an extra closet in my house...

I'm still looking for inspiration for my bookshelf, so if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them!

Today Bradley is 1 year old!!!! Do I really have a 1 year old? I can't believe how fast this year has gone. I'm a little sad that's he's growing up so fast, but I am more excited to see him learn and develop as a little guy. I feel so blessed to have his sweet spirit in our home. He makes me a better person everyday and I wouldn't trade him for the world. How did I get so lucky? Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Bradley! I love you!
