My New Project

I am so excited about my new quilting project! I bought my fabric from a line called "Batiks", which I love because of all the vibrant colors. It may look like a random color selection, but I promise it will look great when I'm done.

Adam and I are going to Daniville the week after we graduate and his mom is going to help me get started on my quilt. I can't wait to quilt with my Mother-in-Law because I am going to learn so much. I can't wait to get started!

The Rodeo!

Last week I went to my first Rodeo. I have to admit that I had a blast! I don't know what it was about this rodeo, but there was so much energy in the stadium which made it so exciting to watch. We watched Bull riding, horse races around the barrels, a greasy pig chase, and a chicken chase. Adam was making fun of me because he thinks I'm a true Idaho-an now, but NO, I am not an Idaho-an; I just enjoyed a good rodeo!

The Month of March

These are some pictures we took thorugh out March. This past month has been super crazy. We have been getting ready for finals, organizing our moving situation, planning our Paris trip, training new managers and trying to find time for eachother. Some of these pictures include Adam's snowboarding trip and us at home. Enjoy pictures from our craziest month yet!

Adam's Birthday!

For Adam's Birthday I went all out. I surprised him with an afternoon massage (at a spa, I'm not very good, haha) put him on a scavenger hunt, had dinner with friends, and gave him his beautiful gift! It was a day full of surprises.

The three pictures from our wedding was what I made him for his birthday. It is an easy craft I learned at work and it turned out great! My favorite thing to do is surprise my beau.

I Miss My Adam:(

This weekend Adam drove down to Utah for his annual snow boarding trip. It's kind of a big deal because his mission buddies and friends fly to Utah for this. They basically snowboard till they drop! As much as I want him to have a great time with his friends, I want him with me because I MISS HIM SO MUCH!! I absolutely hate it when he is gone! I have gotten so used to having him with me that I feel like something is always missing. But we did watch American Idol together over speaker phone, which was nice. I just love that man so much and can't wait for him to get home!!

California Weekend!

This past weekend Adam and I flew to San DIego to look for a place to live. We searched for about two days and finally found the place of our dreams. You are not going to believe this....it is less than one mile from Adam's work! Our Complex is called Villa Taviana. Just being there feels like we're on some resort in Hawaii. Anyway, we are very excited to move in APril! It is hard to concentrate on school because we know what is waiting for us; we just keep telling ourselves "six more weeks, six more weeks!"

Adam's dad was in San DIego on business that same weekend, which was so fun because we were able to have dinner with him and visit a bit. But I did forget to take a picture...:(

We were also able to visit with my family, which is always a blast. Adam's dad gave us this Afro wig when we saw him, so we used the wig that night when we were playing games. Thanks Lauper Dad! I got to see my childhood friend, Kristin, she met up with us at the beach. I love seeing my best friends because when we get together it's as if no time has passed. When we were at the beach we had dinner and had a bonfire. It was a perfect weekend!

Knowing we have a beautiful place to live in and family close is a great feeling.

Our Crazy Week!

As some of you know, this week has been pretty crazy for Adam and I. We are getting ready to fly to CA to look for houses this Thursday, which means we have to take all of our mid-terms before Thursday. Surprisingly we have done really well on all of our mid-terms, which is a nice feeling to have when we're leaving town. Because Valentines Day was right in the middle of this week, we managed to spend some time together. I surprised Adam by decorating our house and making him breakfast. I absolutely LOVE surprising him because he doesn't know how to react; it's really cute! Then that night we were planning on going to an event through the school that had sleigh rides and dinner. When we arrived, it was in the middle of a muddy field (because all the snow was melting) and the activities had not begun. When we stepped out of our car we thought, hmm, it's cold and nothing is going on, so we bailed and went out to dinner. It was still a very romantic night!

The Butt Shot!

So...posting this picture was actually very hard for me because it is of my BUTT! (And the longer you look at it my butt looks the same size as my husbands!! And I probably shouldn't have told you that because now you will be like..."Oh yeaaaaah")
Anyways I thought it was cute because Adam and I are twiners with our matching pants and plaid jackets. I don't really have a reason to post this excpet that I was getting bored of my previous posting; so I wanted to mix things up a bit. Please enjoy our butt shot!

I honestly never thought I would say that, but it is fun. This pillowcase was my first project and I loved how it turned out! And I might add that I recieved an A on this beautiful creation!
I also made that scarf in the picture to the right. Because I work at a craft store I have been teaching myself new crafts!

Bitter Cold

Today it is about 7 degrees!! These are the days that make Rexburg painful to live in. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 8 BELOW!! This picture was taken when I was leaving for class and it was so painful taking that picture! I'm so jealous of my whole family because they are all in the sunshine!

Back in Idaho...

Adam took this picture the day we got back in Idaho. Right when we arrived and steppped out of our bus I wanted to cry! The roads are covered with ice, which means we have to walk extremely slow with small steps, haha. Luckily it's not below zero yet. It's in the 30's, which is a heat wave for Idaho right now. Even though I despise the snow, apart of me will miss it because it will always remind me of our first couple years together. But I do NOT miss it enough to live in it...hehe.

Danville Pictures

Pictrures

Christmas Pics!

Sorry I have not posted in such a long time! Adam and I have been so busy with school and checking girls into our Apartment.
For the frist week of Christmas we were at my home in Corona, CA. The second week we flew up to Danville in Northern CA, to spend with Adam's family. We had a blast being home with our families. It was so nice to have my whole family together during Christmas. There were days where we spent all day at home and had such a great time.
When we were in Danville we spent a couple days in San Francisco, which was really fun to see all the entertainment on the streets. We also played every board game in the world! I didn't grow up playing very many board games, but it was fun to laugh with everyone! Anyways, we had a great break and are beginning our last semester at BYU-I!

Our Bowling Night!!

Adam's twin, Aaron, will be leaving Rexburg next week:( We are sad to see him leave, but we only have three months left! Here are some pictures of us bowling last night. Sometimes it's hard to bowl with those two because they are so good, but we always have a good time.

Our One Year Anniversary!!

We have been married for one year!!! It is amazing how the time flies! We celebrated by going to a cute restaraunt called Snake Bite and then topped off the night with some shopping! I made Adam a BEAUTIFUL blanket, which he loves! Adam bought me a gorgeous leopard purse. It is a bit flashy, but I love it!!

Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving we stayed in Idaho because I had to work, but it turned out to be a great weekend! Adam's brother Troy and his family came up for the Holiday, which filled up our little apartment. Adam and I cooked a turkey for the first time and it turned out great! We had a beautiful dinner. I was going to post pictures, but I have to hunt down to camera. I will post them soon!

We're moving to San Diego!

Adam and I have some great news! Adam had a job interview with HP in San Diego, and he got the job! We are so excited! I am so proud of Adam! We will be moving to San Diego in April and can't wait! Adam will have his Bachelors and I will have my Associates. I am looking as schools in San Diego in order to complete my Bachelors. Adam is going to miss the snow because of his passion for snowboarding, but I sure won't miss it!

Our First Snow!

This is a picture of our first snow. I was very sad to see the snow on the roads, but watching it fall from the sky was beautiful! Thank goodness the snow did not stick, but I'm sure it's not too far away. We only have one more brutal winter to endure until we are in San Diego!

Rhonda's Wedding!

These are some pictures from our trip to Utah for my cousins wedding. It was so much fun to see the family and to meet my new nephew, Will!! Who , by the way, is the cutest baby ever!!
One of my favorite pictures is the one where my Mom and Aunt Jenny are doing the Macarena! They were so cute dancing together! Well, enjoy the pictures, and I can't wait to see everyone again!
